Privacy Policy

Overview

Squishy Dumplings: Bao Pop ("the App", "we", "us") is a collectible "blind box" game published by Squishy Dumplings. You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or contact information. The App is free and supported by ads and an optional in‑app purchase.

Information we (and our partners) handle

Game data stored on your device

Your collection, currency ("Steam"), streaks, and settings are saved locally on your device. This data stays on the device and is not sent to us.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

We show banner, interstitial, rewarded, rewarded‑interstitial, and app‑open ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process device identifiers (including the Advertising Identifier / IDFA when you allow tracking), coarse/IP‑based location, and ad‑interaction data. • On iOS we ask via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using the IDFA for personalized ads. If you decline, ads are non‑personalized.
• Users who indicate they are under 13 always receive non‑personalized ads.

In‑app purchases (Apple + RevenueCat)

Purchases (e.g., the Golden Box pack) are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate and manage purchases; RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID and purchase/receipt data. It does not receive your name or Apple ID. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not collect a push token or send you remote push notifications.

What we do not do

• We do not require or collect accounts, names, emails, or phone numbers.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not run our own analytics servers; game progress never leaves your device.

Children's privacy (COPPA / Apple Kids)

The App is family‑friendly and may be used by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads shown to users who indicate they are under 13 are non‑personalized and configured for child‑directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your choices

• iOS tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Reset advertising ID: in your device privacy settings.
• Purchases: managed through your Apple ID / App Store account.

Data retention

On‑device game data persists until you delete the App or clear its data. Our advertising and purchase partners retain data per their own policies (linked above).

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
