Stroll is built around a simple promise: your reflections are yours. The app has no accounts, no servers of mine, and no analytics or tracking. Almost everything stays on your device. This policy explains the few details in plain language.
Your journal entries — your reflections, walk durations, dates, and prompts — are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to me or to any server I operate. I cannot see your reflections.
If you turn on iCloud Backup, Stroll saves a copy of your entries to your own private iCloud account, so they survive a lost or replaced phone. This data lives in your Apple iCloud storage and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. I have no access to it. You can remove it anytime by deleting the "Stroll" folder in your iCloud Drive.
Reminders (the optional daily walk reminder and the "look back" on older reflections) are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server and no message is sent anywhere off your phone.
Stroll is free and ad-free. You may leave an optional one-time tip to support development. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store, and processed using RevenueCat, which validates the transaction. In doing so, RevenueCat may receive purchase-related information such as a randomly generated app user ID, your device and app version, country, and details of the purchase. I do not receive your name, email, or payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy for how they handle this data. Whether you've tipped is remembered only on your device (to show your supporter badge).
Stroll is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, I'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
